February 2009
Established over twenty years ago, The Taylor Gallery no
longer has a retail shop. We now exhibit at The British
Antique Dealers Association Fair in March and at the two
Olympia Antique and Fine Art Fairs in June and November.
We will also show specific paintings "by appointment
" at mutually convenient times.
We specialise in Twentieth Century British artists such
as Edward Seago, Montague Dawson, Sir William Russell Flint
and Norman Wilkinson. We also specialise in China Trade
and Marine art and occasionally we have a few South East
Asian paintings by such artists as Fernando Amorsolo.
Our web-site is not up-dated on a daily basis so, if you
have a particular requirement, it is always worthwhile
e-mailing jeremy@taylorgallery.com to
see if we can help.
In these Credit Crunchy times when the
Stock Market seems no better than
a Casino and Banks only pay derisory interest on your savings,
it cannot
be such a bad idea to consider buying a painting. At
least it will not
lose ninety percent of its value in a month and it will
yield a daily
dividend of enjoyment. On a longer view, it might even turn
in to a
family heirloom.
Appreciating that most people, even though they might currently have the
wherewithall to purchase a £100,000 painting, might not be
prepared to
do so at the moment, we have selected a dozen watercolours by Edward
Seago from our inventory and priced them all at £10,000 each. They
are
priced to sell!! First come, first served. Pictures may be purchased
before the Exhibition.
Unless they have been sold previously, they will
be exhibited on our Stand
Number B 56 at The British Antique Dealers Association
Fair (
The BADA
Fair ) at The Duke of York Square off the King's
Road in London from
March 25th to 31st 2009. Should you wish
to make a purchase before
the
BADA Fair, or to receive complimentary Entrance Tickets
to it, please email jeremy@taylorgallery.com or,
telephone 07977555230
Please remember that, as well as selling paintings,we are
always interested to buy them. We are prepared to purchase
whole collections or just single pieces.
