So much has been written
about Sir Alfred Munnings ( including a
three volume autobiography of over a thousand pages )
that we will
restrict ourselves to stating that he was without doubt
the best
British horse painter of the Twentieth Century. He is equally famous
for his paintings of gypsies and general scenes
of country life as
well as his strong views about and against abstract art.
We will prepare a much more detailed introduction to his life and works
in due course. In the meantime, enjoy the images of
our current stock.
